Food and service was great! However, dining in or sitting and waiting on the food...that experience was poor. The kitchen (visible from door) was filthy along with the floors. Two employees came in for their shift while we were waiting on our order and just began serving. Didn't wash hands, no hair net, never put on gloves (only the cook was wearing gloves) - so the lady was placing and removing the bread from the toaster with her BARE HANDS 👀, it just wasn't the cleanest environment that I would want to eat in - especially in the midst of a pandemic (COVID-19). If you're looking for a "Waffle House" experience, this is your place. Let me be clear, I'm fine with mom and pop places, I believe they have the best food. But I expected a little more effort to protect my food from bare hands. Do better because I was thrilled to support a Black Owned establishment in such a small town. Maybe I'll try again next time.

Friendly staff that refused to let my drink get more than half-empty, a wizard working the kitchen, clean building, charming art on the tops of the walls all around, plentiful parking, and the food was fresh, housemade instead of canned or frozen or premade, just a GEM of a little restaurant in a little town. I think the most expensive item on the menu was $9.

Don't care where you might be, if you are within an hour or so's drive of this place, make sure you stop for a bite. Tip your servers! and for heaven's sake, tip the cook. They are knocking themselves out for you and genuinely deserve respect and thanks.

Great food at reasonable prices. The staff is so friendly. Love this place

Ok breakfast I had oatmeal. Waitress to reserved for my taste. Maybe if I go for dinner or lunch it'll be a different story not sure not impressed
