    Good food, decent price for a sit down place. As you can see from the outside shot the landscaping gave the impression they weren't open but they are. Frog-legs available if you can't find anywhere else with them.

    Had a great lunch at the Catfish Hole in Alma today. The staff is always friendly and attentive without being too overbearing. And as always the fish was awesome....I'll be back.

    Maybe my expectations were too high. The server was nice, gotta give her that. I had 5 shrimp with an addon of one catfish strip. They were pretty good. I had a side of slightly limp (aka undercooked or oil not hot enough) fries. I added an 'apple blossom', which felt like it had been frozen, not fresh. The total for that was $23, which for what I got, and being in NW Arkansas was a bit steep. This felt like a $16 meal to me.

    After camping for 3 nights it was a welcomed surprise. Food was fantastic. Service was fantastic. I just with there was one near St. Louis.

    I love this place. I'm from Northwest Arkansas but I'd much rather drive to Alma for the Catfish hole. The service is better and so is the atmosphere. And of course the food is delicious ????
