The food was excellent. "Home style cooking" to me usually means lower quality but not here. The black eyed peas and pork chops had so much flavor, especially with the chunks of pork in the black eyed peas. The only reason I couldn't give it five stars is because there are no real instructions on how to get your food or seating. They also only had one server but it was slow when we went. That one server however, was very friendly and professional.

Pretty decent food here. It’s set up as a served buffet, they ask what you want and put it on plate for you. Typically it’s a meat dish and 2 sides with cornbread or roll. The menu changes daily. Very clean and well run. I tried the ribs, cabbage and beans with cornbread and it was pretty good. Friendly service and a good price.

They have some good soul food!! And they're reasonably priced, compared to other places that I have been to around here... I love the smothered pork chops...! Even though I'm not supposed to have them... That's my cheat meal.. When I do cheat..! They have delicious sides... I mean I went there three times in one week here recently!!! That's how good the food is... The only thing I wish they would add, is hamhocks and Turkey????! Other than that, go and enjoy some good food from here... You won't regret it!!!
