I had to just come back to revise this review. Big Banjo pizza is not only a staple in South Arkansas but it's a MUST! I have been coming here for as long as I have been alive and its always amazing. I have even had the opportunity in my childhood to make these pizzas at one time. This place just never disappoints even after being away for almost 20 years I still come back home and it's a definite stop when I am in town!
First time trying big banjo and The cheese sticks are sooo good. Love their ranch! Got thin crust pepperoni and jalapeño pizza... delicious. Also spaghetti comes with a yummy meat sauce and garlic bread. Will definitely be back! Great small town pizza place.
After a trip to Southern Arkansas, we were hankering for pizza. My dad not only insisted we stop here, he gave me $25 to cover it!! We called in our order and it was ready 15 minutes later. Due to COVID, they're only offering drive thru window service, as of October 2020.
The sausage half of our pizza was STELLAR. The taste of the pork, the crunch of the thin crust, the tang of the sauce, and the stretch of the cheese combined perfectly. The pepperoni side would have been a fine pizza anywhere else, but next to this sausage it just paled in comparison.
The cheese sticks were a thick crust base with a generous pile of melted cheese. We asked for marinara sauce but got ranch instead - a detail that was fixed at the window immediately upon realization.
I remember the original Big Banjo in Pine Bluff from my childhood and this brought back so many memories!
If your from here, you know this is the best place to get pizza 🍕 compared to the other pizza chain that's located in Dumas. We ordered the beef deluxe👍🏾. Great service and good tasting pie. Whether you're passing through or local, it's good to grab or sit in. Either way you'll be satisfied.
