Twisted Taco

Decent quick-serve Tex-Mex food. I had a Tofu Fajita Salad. I’d wanted to get a burrito bowl, but they were out of rice, but I wasn’t unhappy with the salad. The guy who made my bowl was nice and helpful showing me all the options since I had never been before. Everything was very average - the topping options were basic, the vegetables and probably bowl were just slightly past peak freshness (still completely acceptable, though). But the basic combination of ingredients admittedly work well together, and I thought the salsa was pretty good. Overall it was less impressive than comparable fast Tex-Mex chains that I’m familiar with like Chipotle and Moe’s, but it got the job done. Good portion size for the price.
The taco menu is again mostly just the basic ingredients, but there were a few more interesting things in there, and when the customer in front of me asked for a special taco sauce on their quesadilla, the worker put it on, so you could try spicing it up by doing that. Props to them for having lots of vegetarian choices - according to the menu, you can sub tofu for the meat in any of the tacos.
The restaurant is spacious and very clean. The booths all have outlets which I appreciated since my phone perpetually needs a charge.
