Same Ole Joes Pizza

Small town pizza place. Great tasting pizza with good crust. Small salad bar. The buffet wasn't going while we were there. We had the cheeseburger pizza and meat lovers, both were excellent. Great service, at a good price.

Pizza was good. Service was lacking, but it was buffet, so I imagine she didn't think she'd get tipped to begin with (we did and would have more had the service not been lacking) Upon entering, waitress informed us that the buffet was shutting down in 25 minutes, and they would not be refilling any of the items.
We went ahead with buffet any way, since there were quite a few pizzas left on the buffet. That was a mistake as the pizza went very fast. Salad was not very good quality, brown in places but still edible. We had to ask random workers 3 or 4 times for refills.
Overall the place looked like it had potentially good pizza and service once, but it seems to be waning. I'd only stop again if there weren't other choices.

This is by far one of my favorite places to eat. A rolling buffet that is constantly full. Perfectly cooked pizza with very little grease.
More options than you can imagine. The service is always friendly and frequent. My glass was never empty.

Nice friendly young staff. Salad bar is well stocked and clean. My thin crust pizza was good but was a bit short on cheese.
Prices are in line with other pizza places.

I have yet to find any pizza I regard as good as Joe's. Whether locally or beyond their pizza is tops. The pizza crusts are light and crispy and topped with high quality rich and flavorful cheeses. The toppings vary but most are very good. I prefer the thick crust variety and I have yet to find a better version of cheeseburger pizza that brings the flavor of old-style hamburger stand burgers to a pizza. As a local we always get pizza to take home as the interior is rather plain and uninspiring, but plenty others clearly do not feel that way. No doubt the daily lunch buffet (11:00 - 1:30) is an attraction for many. The pizza selection is usually varied and fresh. The salad bar is less inspiring with only limited and mediocre choices. Some might call Joe's little more than a "hole in the wall," but come here for the food, not the atmosphere.
