Rivertowne BBQ

Solid little BBQ joint. Nothing crazy special here, but everything seemed decent quality and the staff were nice. If you’re looking for a quick bite off the highway and don’t want your typical fast food joint, this is a good place to try. Also, it’s located right in the heart of the city, so it’s a good place to visit if you like cute older downtowns.

I can't say enough good things about this place. We stumbled upon it by accident around Christmas . We are self proclaimed bbq connoisseurs and we both instantly agreed, this was some of the best we had ever had. We live 1 1/2 hours away from there and it would not bother me to drive that far just to eat there again.

We stopped through here on our way through town in a road trip. So worth the stop! We are picky about bbq and it lived up to our expectations and then some. First of all this is a small little town and has a wonderful small town happy feel to it, the waitress was really friendly and quick. Now to the food... I had the sliced brisket sandwich: it was so tender and had the perfect flavor. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich it was also tender with a good flavor. Their bbq sauce was great and we are so picky about bbq sauce! This is a must stop place if your ever in this route!

This was absolutely the BEST BBQ I have ever eaten. The meat was SO tender. They have AMAZING sauce, that they make right there. My husband ordered the nachos, which were HUGE and covered with meat. It was enough for two. I ordered the pulled pork sandwich, which was tender and delicious! I can't say enough about the sauce, I wanted to bring some home, which they do sell, but we were traveling and it would not have kept. The only regret I have is that they were closed on Sunday for supper. We would have eaten there a second night!!

I only get to AR to visit family, but the truth is, i visit for this potato! Love it. Staff is always great. A destination experience in town.
