    Whenever I am in Altus, I have to stop here for lunch. My favorite dish is the Quiche Lorraine. It is out of this world! You won't have room for dessert after eating this entree! The ladies are always so cheerful and friendly. Such a unique place!

    The wine is delicious, and made locally which is always the best way to enjoy your surroundings. The food was fresh, delicious, and authentic. Living in Germany for almost four years allowed us to try some amazing roasted potatoes, sauerkraut and bratwurst...and this restaurant absolutely nailed it. We had some cheesecake too which was perfect...not overly sweet and downright delicious. After lunch, we went to the store and had a nice wine tasting before picking up three bottles. The prices are MORE THAN reasonable. Definitely will be coming back!

    Great restaurant - be prepared to stay awhile. They really let you take your time and enjoy each course. Ideal for an anniversary or special occasion.

    This winery was begun in 1880 and has evolved and added a unique underground restaurant that was built in the late 1800's, as well as a banquet room w/ bar, and gift shop. A truly unique experience. Don't forget the winery tour and sample some of their wonderful wines. PS: the food is excellent. As close to old Swedish/ German food as I have found. Even the turkey sandwich will amaze you.
