Clampits Country Kitchen

We stopped by as we were in the area digging for quartz crystals and glad we did. The bbq was very good, the staff very friendly and the extras you can buy were great. I picked up 3 different flavors of their homemade jellys. Worth checking out people!!

Great place for BBQ or your deli needs. They have regular plates or bundles of BBQ, as well as catering. The deli has everything, including grab n go meals. Great selection of meat, meals, and deli cheeses. The staff is very friendly and helpful. They even have a section with spices, jams, and a bunch of other local items. If you haven't been to Clampit's, you're missing out

Fantastic barbecue plates, brisket is tender, side dishes are perfect. Catered my Thanksgiving and did a good job. Was not real happy with the rolls, I could have bought my own bag at the store, or spicy tasting dressing. Just a little much.

I love this place.
Today was the first time I've been in this place. I wish I had more time to shop and see all of their products. I was on a hiking trip and unprepared.
I did buy a piece of pecan desert. This was very close to a pecan pie filling but much better! Man was it delicious! I will definitely go back just for more of this desert. The ribs looked wonderful.
Clampits puts Weldon's to shame. It is well worth the short drive.

They have the best smoked meats I have had anywhere around. Lunch specials every day include drink. And they are special! Today I had a brisket "sammich" with slaw on top. It was incredible!
It was the "small" version, but it would have fed a small army!!! Next time the "Jethro" is on my radar!
Baked potato salad was my choice of side and it was absolutely the best I've had in years!
Did I mention the meat market??? Oh wow! As a retired chef I wish I had access to this quality of product on a regular basis. And after talking with a few long standing customers, they assured it it was constantly the best! Every employee was not just helpful, they were personable. That's right, I think they actually liked their jobs!!! Can't wait to go back and visit Miss Lynn, she's representing the Clampits in a fine way!
