Mel's Southern Diner

Giving a 3 star because the food is in fact good, however the food poisoning that came with it the last 2 times I’ve eaten there not so great..

Ate here two weeks ago along with other places that weekend so I wasn’t sure where I had gotten the food poisoning from until now, with it being the only place/thing I have eaten today.

Crispy hash browns,biscuits and sausage gravy,eggs over easy, French toast,and ham were all done to perfection.Friendly staff,and if you Like small place atmosphere and good biscuits, this is your place.

One of the best places i have eaten in several decades. The food is so fresh and cooked just the way you would think it should be. This is the place you are looking for when you want a meal that is done right. Thank you MEL'S 😊.

On trip Texas to Ohio and back, we went off the interstate a ways to have breakfast here because I like to kinda stay away from the chain restaurants for the most part. Uncle had biscuits and gravy and cleaned the plate! They were out of pork chops and chicken fried steak, but the sausage was very good, the eggs cooked perfectly and the hash browns were the best I've had in a very long time! Nice and crispy! Waitress was very nice and from Texas!🤠

We LOVE Mel's! They have, by far, the best French dip/Philly cheesesteak sandwiches around! Burgers, fish, salads, are all great too! Great customer service, too!
