Simple Simon's Pizza

Attended a funeral & this place was chosen for lunch. First time I have been to this town. This was a nice little place. The pizza was very good & the salad bar was adequate. The game room for the children was very convenient. We were a very large group, maybe 15. Along with the other patrons we overwhelmed it a little I think, but they did the best they could. Would recommend.

Spent all day running around, and my son suggested pizza. He is a bit picky when it comes to most foods, so we decided on the Pepperoni pounder. It was really good. We had the hand tossed crust, which was very good! I haven't had pizza from here before, but would have it again!

We got the jumbo pizza to share, which only comes in thin crust. That was ok though, but I wonder what the regular crust is like. The thin crust was good, not soggy as some are. Sturdy enough to hold the pizza, but not crisp or burnt. The jumbo was enough for two hungry people, and we had some leftovers. Probably a large would have been ok for two people. We just were not sure! They do have small personal pizza sizes. Their soda fountain is Coke products.

I didn't think the pizza was anything amazing, but it was good and I was not disappointed by any stretch.

I found the gal at the counter very pleasant and nice.

Amazing pizza! The staff were busy, but friendly. There seemed to be a lot of take out orders and they were made quickly. We were only driving through town to get to our next location. Our GPS wasn't great in the area. We were offered directions from a customer. Everyone seemed to want to help us with everything. This is why I love small towns and restaurants like this one. It reminded me of home.

I want to like this pizza but the sauce is too sweet, crust too soft, and ingredients so mediocre that they just blend into the cheese. Also, I ordered the normal pizzeria style but wonder if they gave me the wrong kind. It’s fine for what it is but I wouldn’t rush back.
