“Very nice barbecue restaurant. Simple ambiance. Extremely informal, down to use of plastic ware. The food itself was quite good, including the brisket and ribs. The prices are extremely reasonable, with most combos including two sides costing under $10. A local co-worker recommended it, and she didn't steer us wrong. Try it. Y'all will like it.”

“I overhead some people recommending The Pizza Place and thought I'd make a trip out to visit. Place wasn't busy on the Saturday I visited. Menu prices were a bit steep. Wait staff was friendly. Got to choose our own seats. Other than the carry outs, I think we were the only table. Food was out in a reasonable amount of time. Ordered some boneless buffalo wings. They were good, but not exceptional. The ranch dip that came with them was fairly good. Ordered a thin crust Pepperoni and pork sausage pizza. They went heavy with the sausage topping. I know some prefer this, but I feel like it's a waste. A lot of it comes off and that much sausage tends to overwhelm the other flavors. If they are going to put that much sausage on the pizza, I would like to at least see it under the cheese so it's not falling off. If you're in the area, it's worth a stop if you're in the mood for pizza. Those who are fans of US Pizza of Newport will probably find a similar pizza here.”
