I was really surprised with the food. Not salty and full of flavor. Service was really good. I will be going again.

Food is always good. I usually get fried fish and/or shrimp. Anytime I’m in Pine Bluff, I stop by.

If you’re looking for good southern food with no frills then this is your spot! The food is delicious and fresh. The fish portions are HUGE and the hush puppies are full of flavor. You will not leave hungry. The staff is friendly. They are short staffed right now so please be patient.

Considering all the wonderful reviews shown here, maybe I hit this on a bad night. I went there around the beginning of October probably around 8:00 or 9:00 p.m. The place was empty except for a couple getting takeout and a couple of staff. There was no music, and the TV wasn't on, so the place seemed kind of eerie. The place was clean but looked worn. The staff were polite enough. I have no complaints about them. The seat I took seemed well worn and was probably left over from when this place was a Captain D's (judging by the layout). I had grilled fish and shrimp, and it was tasty! The food is delicious. I think the portions were a little small for what I got, but then everything is getting more expensive. The only complaint I truly have is that the okra seemed to be a combination of cold, overcooked, and old. One piece was like chewing leather. I had plenty of that though. I wish I had had less okra and more fish & shrimp. One thing I noted was that I was the only customer dining in. Everyone else who came in while I was there (and there were around twelve, maybe more) got theirs to go. So, maybe that's the key to enjoying this place. Get your meal(s) to go.
