    Wonderful service and delicious breakfast. Eggs, bacon, toast--sounds basic but it was just what I wanted and cooked perfectly. The western omelet got rave reviews, too. Good, hot coffee there, and a host of local characters (I hope Beaver got his waffles)!

    I ate breakfast at Carla's two mornings in a row when visiting Star City and the food was amazing!! The Cafe's decor is county and inviting, very clean. The employees were so friendly and efficient. And the food was great! So fresh and made from scratch. I highly recommend this Cafe!

    We got there around 12:20pm and to their credit it was after the lunch rush had wiped out the specials. The off the menu items were good. I had the hamburger steak with onions and gravy. It looked small but was incredibly filling. I enjoyed the salad that came with it, but be prepared it looks a little underwhelming. When we had service it was fantastic, but they were pretty busy cleaning up after the rush. I will be trying to make it earlier to try that lunch special, it must really be something!
