Ate at the restaurant for the first time July 2018, and the burger was so good I couldn't wait for the next chance to go there! But, it is 114 miles away from where I live, so I had to wait for the next time I did the Peel Ferry run on the bike down 125. Darn it, it wasn't open! Next time, no luck again! Finally learned they weren't open on Saturdays, so this time took a day off from work and went down on a Friday, had a bacon, mushroom and Swiss burger, and oh my...just perfect! I'm attaching a picture of the vinyl wallboard in the seating area...it is the exact (!) same thing my parents had in our little dining room back in the 70's, it's pretty cool to see that connection to my childhood again. If you come down to the ferry from the north, please go about 7 or 8 miles past it, and you will come to a beautiful scenic overlook. And, for some great burgers, stop at the Wagon Wheel restaurant!

The staff and cabin was nice. I did not want to leave the beautiful view of marina and lake. Food excellent.
I will tell all my friends about this family fun and friendly place. If you like rustic and no cell reception. This is the place to be and go back to

We stayed at the Wagon Wheel twice, and both times we found the cabin clean and comfortable. The restaurant is good too. Reasonable prices, the food is good with a pretty good selection, and the owners are friendly. I highly recommend this resort over the much pricier ones around. It's a nice and quiet place to take your family on vacation.

Cozy cabin, has just about everything you'd need, but we brought all our own supplies. Bathroom was updated and clean, and that was nice. Great location to put our boat in, easy to maneuver and conveniently near the cabin rental. We parked the boat right onto the grass when we needed something at the cabin. The water was high. The kids loved the playground and the neighboring dock. The cafe was adorable and had good food. We will be back. My only negative experience was the mattresses-they were so bad that I actually threw my back out sleeping on them and had to go to the ER. There were mouse droppings in the silverware drawer but honestly that didn't bother us too much because we didn't use anything, and it's a cabin in the woods, that is almost to be expected 🤷🏻‍♀️ We brought our two small dogs and they did great for being puppies and their first big outing. It wasn't too much extra cost to bring them. The staff was very nice and accommodating when we did ask for a couple extras. The cabin kitchen was fine for what we needed from it, we used our own pans and utensils. The fridge was so cold that it froze our food, so don't forget to check the temperature setting, it was all the way up! We look forward to our next stay, but I'll be bringing a mattress pad! Overall, we had a great time despite my back issue and already booked another stay.
