I’ve stopped at the truck stop, which is across the street from this restaurant, many times. It has easy access from the highway. First time eating here.

First off it was two o’clock in the afternoon on a Wednesday. I was seated quickly and my order was taken within five to ten minutes of me sitting down. I was offered a drink while I made my choices.

The food was hot and fresh. I had the queso dip (small) and an order of street tacos (4). You can choose from several different meat options. The meats were not dry or over seasoned. The salsas were also fresh. My drink was refilled three times while I had my meal. That’s a big plus for me! The fresh wedges of lime, grilled onions and slivers of fresh radishes make a big difference. These little condiments help when flavoring the juiciness of the tacos. If you are hesitant to try this place don’t be. Great tasting food.

The staff was friendly and attentive. I will be visiting again when the opportunity presents itself. I was not compensated in any way for my review.

I’ve been here more then a dozen times, from Canada and love Mexican food. It’s harder to get up north and seeing this ends up being my 11 hour stopping point more times then not I use the opportunity to grab good food.

Prices are very fair the staff speaks both English and Spanish and the portions are always hot. The red salsa taste great and the queso even better. The decor respects the local high school sports scene while staying true to the Mexican feel with colours and art everywhere.

Bathroom although clean was rather small and dark.

What’s best is you can get your Semi around back or lives along with RV and or trailers. This place is worth the stop if your hungry.

Chimichanga Loco yummm... when can I stop again! $13.69 with Ice Tea small queso and chips and salsa to go! I’ll take it. 5* keep up the great work.

PS PARDON the dust half the restaurant is under renovation.
