The service was great. Very friendly, professional, and attentive. The food was really good. They have shrimp, several kinds of fish including white fish, crab cakes, gumbo, rice dishes and red beans, salad bar, desserts, and everything included for all you can eat buffet for $19.95 per adult on a Saturday evening.

The fries were really good, crispy, battered. The ribs were to die for. As you can see in my picture, I barely touched the rib and the meat just fell off in my hand. It was so tender and delicious.

One of the highlights of this restaurant are the little things they provide. They have coffee ready and hot at all times, even at closing time. They have flavored syrups to add to your tea or lemonade. They have ice cream and frozen yogurt with all of the fixings - caramel, chocolate, sprinkles, cones, you name it. And last but definitely not least, they have hot cinnamon rolls with warm icing you can top yours off with, if you like a lot more. The little things really make this quite the experience.

Fantastic place. Definitely worth the money.

I love this place! They have great buffet selections! The selections aren't as huge as other restaurants BUT the food is amazing, and I leave more than satisfied! The buffet is a tad expensive, to me, at $19.95, but it's still worth going to! If you want homemade cinnamon rolls, THIS is the place to go! And those ribs! Muah! Love them! I live almost 2 hours away from this place and I never regret going! I can't wait to go back!

If it were possible, I'd give them 4.8 stars. Nice down home atmosphere, clean and pleasant experience. I love that they ask you to put on gloves through the buffet line. The food was hot and fresh. Veggies could use a little more seasoning (thus the 2/10ths of a pt off), but the creole catfish was on point. The owner was a very nice gentleman who worked just like his employees. And Anna was the hardest working waitress I've seen in awhile. She hustled!! I totally recommend this place to everyone.

My husband and I love to eat at Brown's. The food is delicious and the service is great. My favorites are the boiled shrimp, fried shrimp and the Cajun catfish. Oh and don't forget to eat a homemade cinnamon rolls or some of their homemade bread pudding. The drink is included in the price. Everyone does a wonderful job and are very friendly!

All the food I tried was excellent. They have a large, varied selection, making it impossible to try everything on one visit--Good, tender ribs, with tasty sauce, shrimp, catfish, whitefish, chicken, gumbo, variety of vegetables and salad items, fried onion straws, famous cinnamon rolls, bread pudding, cobbler, and ice cream, etc. This time, we went at lunchtime, and the food was excellent; but you should know that they don't have as large a selection at lunch as at dinnertime (no shrimp) and the cinnamon rolls are priced separately at lunch and the buffet price is lower. But everything was excellent, and my out-of-town guest was very impressed with their buffet.
