This restaurant had so much food I didn't know where to begin. I had to walk around several times before I even figured out where to start. The catfish, fried and baked 🐔, Homemade rolls, macaroni and other dishes were definitely homemade. The lemonade was just right and the atmosphere was very welcoming. I never made it to the salad bar or dessert bar and I was FULL!
The staff were very attentive and helpful when I asked questions. This was my first time ever in Arkansas but they made it great! All I could do was go to my hotel room and sleep.
This little old place has Home Grown Charm. A great variety of well-prepared Foods from fried and baked to Veggies and Salads. It reminds me of the Buffets I use to go to with my Grandparents.
Sunday lunch is a mad house, but it's well worth the wait. There was a line all the out the door, and I see why. Food is really fresh. The staff were on point and very polite.
The stuff is always great serving up some of the best stuff to Jacksonville has to.offer. You will sign the items as fresh cornbread, white beans, brown beans, greens, chicken livers, fried chicken, and many fixings.
The food here is always served hot and fresh, the buffet is updated regularly and kept clean.
We been here several times in the past and it was just so-so. Recently, they did a little bit of renovation inside restaurant and it seems they also upgraded their recipes or maybe their chefs/cooks as now their food taste really good. We were pleasantly surprised. The servers are always attentive and very friendly. We will be back sometime soon to check if they keep it up. We really hope they do. Fingers crossed.
