Cotham's In the City

We originally just chose this place because it was close to our conference. We did simple with the chicken strips, fried tomatoes, and green beans. The fried tomatoes were the best I've ever had from a restaurant. The chicken strips were seasoned well, the green beans had a good flavor, and the gravy was the perfect dipping "sauce"
I ended up forgetting my receipt on the table and called about 30 minutes later. The person that I originally talked to sounded like she was not happy about finding a receipt and sounded pretty put off by my request to have one emailed to me. The manager, on the other hand, was very friendly and sent the receipt right over.

This place has good food, great portions at a great price. The country fried steak is fire. (Didn't get a picture) This was my gf fish. Those green fired tomatoes was so good. 🤤 The only only con is, they're only open from 11a-2p 😮‍💨

This place has some of the best food around. I love their burgers and my wife loves their fried pork chops. Our food came out nice and hot, which you don't really get much these days. The service was great as well. Shan was awesome!

For years, I have been wanting to try a hubcap burger. The burger itself was amazing. The onion rings were great. Fried pies are served with homemade whipped cream. Everyone should try it at least once.

The wait staff is amazing! So attentive and quick. I got a 1/2 hamburger steak and I think it was an issue with the grease and a grill that badly needed scraped. The brown gravy and the steak tasted exactly the same. Like old grease. I think that happens now and then when a place stays as busy as they do. The mashed potatoes were awesome though! The chicken tenders were amazing! Fried perfectly and juicy. Loved them!
The atmosphere is not for me, for political reasons...
