This was my first time ever eating here and we went on a whim. I cannot understate how disappointed I was that this place has been right here and I haven't been! The place is small (which I really love), the staff was fantastic and the food was absolutely exceptional! I plan on taking my entire family this weekend!

Passing through on our way back home to East Texas we meet up with some friends for lunch and the food and service were great. I have a seafood allergy ( I just can't eat it ) And they made sure that my food was cooked separately from other foods cooked in the kitchen. The food had great flavors ( better that most in Texas ) I really enjoyed the salsa. The price was affordable also. Our next trip through Little Rock we will be stopping and having a bite here for sure.

I had dinner here recently and it was ok but needs some tweaking. I ordered this dish (forgot the name) that's basically grilled steak strips with veggies over rice and drizzled with queso. A similar dish to what I've tried at many other Mexican places. It had a good flavor but the problem was the thickness of the queso. Other restaurants use a very thin queso for this dish so you taste it but don't really see it. This place is the opposite. It was queso overkill and when I say good flavor I mean the parts not drenched in queso. They should thin that down or use less.
I also got 2 asada tacos which were very good. They had plenty of meat but were a bit pricey at 3 bucks a pop.
The service was ok but could've been better. The place wasn't busy at all but the server seemed preoccupied with another table for a bit too long. Not a deal breaker but just an observation.
I may come back and try another dish and maybe even splurge on a couple tacos.

Had an exceptional time at the El Alamo Mexican grill. The food was absolutely on par for the course. Hands down some of the best asada I've ever had. The steak is tender and juicy, while melting in your mouth delicious. 10 out of 10 would highly recommend
