Amazing staff and food. I had to plan for a large group outing and this place delivered beyond expectations. The outdoor area was perfect for conversations and hanging out. Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We had attentive and accommodating staff members.
Hill Station is an entire vibe. The patio is the spot to be. Rarely do you find a place where you chill with other adults yet is kid friendly and welcomes dogs.
They keep water bowls on hand for the doghouse.
Cocktails are fantastic. The service is always stellar, and the menu is top-notch and consistently well executed.
Hill Station never disappoints!
Hill Station is a local gem in the Hillcrest area. Solid food, great drink selection and bar menu, and the patio/outdoor seating area is great for Spring and Summer evenings.
The only reason I don’t give them 5 stars is because there is sections of their outdoor seating that look great but they’ve never had it open for seating, at least when I’ve been there. Sad to be able to see cool space but no seating due to either short staff or not enough business to keep that section open. Second, I love that Pets are allowed, but my last experience there I was seated next to a lady who’s dog would go crazy at any pedestrian or dog being walked nearby, as it sits next to a street and sidewalk. My recommendation would be to open up the second seating area or a specific section for people with Pets so other people don’t have to be around I’ll behaved pets.
Those two things aside, you can’t go wrong at Hill Station and I will keep going there to support great local business!
Wonderful menu, great service, fair prices.
Cocktails are delicious.
The menu was pretty simple but very gourmet. The Tuna Poké Nacho was quite tasty... great flavor. The Duck Wings tasted good. The Italian Grind was good ... good choice of bread and the right amount of flavor. The Turkey Reuben was good but was very dry.. The prices were high for what you get.... just 4 Duck Wings and they were just good. The waitress was very good attentive and cheerful made the experience great. So at the end I enjoyed the place but didn't find it a destination spot. It's a great neighborhood place. It was a pricy picnic table setting. I hoped to have craved to go back ... but couldn't find one thing to go back ... well maybe the Tuna Poké Nacho
