Ruchi - Flavor of India

We are in little rock on vacation and have been going to flavor of India almost every day. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of Indian food here. The buffet is outstanding and well priced. I also really liked their concept of a dosa buffet on Thursday nights. Highly recommend going here for an authentic indian experience

Very authentic South-Indian cuisine experience. I ate at lunch, and had several items. Their chicken tikka masala was very good, and I enjoyed the biryani very much. They got *super* busy right at noon though, so go early if you do.

This place has been under new management for 2 months, and already these guys have managed to turn out the best Indian food I've had in this city by far! We ordered the chili paneer, the lamb vindaloo, and gongura mutton, all of which was delicious. However, the spinach pakora was the standout for me. It was perfectly crunchy and flavorful (you could actually taste the spinach and the curry leaves) while not being greasy. The mint sauce that came with it was the perfect compliment. The service was great.

Can't wait to go back.

Ok, so if you are new to LR you won't remember Curry in a Hurry, but it was a great place for Indian food... the new (1 month anniversary just now!) Flavor of INDIA is run by the same family - same great "Dad" as chef and the sweet daughter (I'd never met) as the front counter/dining room help.

The food is great, you will find the usual Indian food and then also some Southern Indian flavors as well. My go-to meal is the Butter Chicken (mild!) and butter naan, yummo!

There are a few new things on the menu - we tried the okra fries and were not disappointed - even the okra-hater-of-the-family had some - they are just that good.

Below typcial pricing for Indian fare and the drinks are self serve but if they see you are low they'll offer to refill - great service! Even when they were very busy they came out and gave updates on where we were when.

I'm not saying I don't like the bigger/fancier place nearby but I will most likely be having more Indian food in the future, so glad Sunny & his Dad are back and with more family!!
