Tonight was the first time my wife and I visited Saltgrass, and we were very impressed with all facets of the experience. The building itself is beautifully designed and decorated, providing guests with an intimate atmosphere in which to eat and enjoy each other's company. Our server was attentive and friendly, and our food was prepared to perfection. I ordered the Texas T-Bone steak, and it was without any doubt the finest steak I've ever eaten at a restaurant. Normally I'll use A1 on steaks I don't prepare myself, but after one bite I couldn't bring myself to insult the quality of the meat with any sort of sauce. My wife likewise enjoyed her meal of fried and grilled shrimp. I think we now have found a favorite new restaurant!
They were extremely busy and we had a short wait. It was worth the wait. Our waitress was very good. She was very polite and done her job very well. She brought out our drinks and bread. My wife loves the honey butter for the bread. Our food came out hot and fresh. We finished our evening with carrot cake. It was really good and more than enough for two. This was our first time eating here. We will definitely be back and having the carrot cake.
We had reservations for 7, and we were seated immediately upon arrival at 6:30pm on a Friday. The server was courteous and generally helpful, but our glasses went dry a few times. The food all tasted good and was cooked properly.
One cup of soup, three adult entrees, one appetizer, and four waters = $74 before tip.
Great place, great atmosphere. Our party of two was seated immediately on a Saturday night. If we weren’t passing through on a trip from Ohio to Dallas we’d definitely be back
First time eating there and I have to say it might have been one of the best steaks that I've ever eaten! The Smoky pineapple margarita was amazing and the macaroni and cheese is to die for. Our waitress was very attentive and so sweet
