Sims Bar-B-Que

Today was a really good day at Sims! Before I got my ribs home and found the to be exceptionally tender and soaked perfectly in the sauce, the staff had so much personality, customer service and just plain ole great attitudes that I wanted to be their new friend and hang out. But, I didn't. I just went home and ate them ribs.

Hands down the best Bar-B-Que in Central Arkansas. Seriously, the next closest place I'd recommend is in Atkins, AR, over 65 miles away! The sides are delicious, and if you're a soda kind of person then a strawberry soda is a MUST as far as drinks go. The only reason it's not 5 stars all around is the deserts. They're good but not the best in town. Everything else is top notch whether dining in or to go.

Tasty, I'd probably visit again.

I stopped here on a trip that had me going through Little Rock and was looking for a local business to support and I was not disappointed. The chopped pork sandwich was stuffed with a generous portion of pork and topped with their in-house BBQ sauce. The sauce absolutely took the sandwich off the charts! Just the right blend of sweet and tangy, I've never had anything like this. I've lived in STL and KC and had a lot of different BBQ across the country and this just added another variety to the list.
On top of that the staff was friendly and my food came up quickly and got me back on the road in no time.
I'll definitely be stopping here again next time I am in Little Rock.

I had the rib tips with green beans and coleslaw. The tips were good and flavorful. The coleslaw was less than stellar. The green beans were canned but good. My momma had ribs with greens and baked beans. I didn't care for the rib flavor. The beans were good
