Slim Chickens

I ordered chicken on line and redeemed the 24 dollar coupon. I picked up the order. I waited at the counter for what seemed like more than 5 minutes, watching staff look my way but didn’t acknowledge me. I did ask for a change of grilled for 3 strips after having to get someone’s attention.. I think I’ll switch to a different location.
Chicken was good but mushrooms were soggy.

This was our first time eating at a Slim Chickens restaurant. Overall, it left a good impression on us, though it was weird to walk in and find the menu screens had glitched out! Since the folks ahead of us were looking at the menu on the counter. We pulled up the menu on a phone to scout out what we wanted. About half our order came out immediately, before we'd even all filled our drinks, and the other items came about ten minutes later. I had the smoky cheddar wrap with grilled chicken, and it was pretty good, if a bit messy--definitely something to eat at a table with a paper towel handy! (On a fun tangent, I was amused that the only items at every table were a roll of paper towels and a small bottle of Log Cabin syrup.) My son had a large macaroni and cheese along with fries and enjoyed both, while my husband had a chicken strips meal. The stand-out item, though, was the fried okra that we shared.

Strips wer nearly twice the size of the ones you get on Markham. Service was fast & friendly, and the food was hot! I would definitely drive right past the Markham and drive to Chenal for the great food and service. Thanks!

I hate to throw a locally owned business under the food truck but, based on my experience at this location a couple of days ago, they were both slim on service and slim on the amount of chicken in their wraps. Sorry guys… Maybe it was just a bad day.
