“I've tried this place a few times in the last few years and had mixed results. The 1st time the wings were pretty good but the 2nd visit was a disappointment. They were overcooked and flavorless. On my most recent visit (and last, by the way) I tried their honey mustard wings. They were just ok. The sauce was tasty but some of them were definitely overcooked. Their prices are pretty good but I've had better prepared wings at several other places.”

“This unassuming Mexican restaurant is hands-down the BEST I've experienced in the Little Rock area. My only regret is driving past without stopping sooner! The layout and decor could be pretty much any other Mexican place, but this isn't required to truly excel, but is clean, warm, and inviting nonetheless. Our waiter was always prompt and friendly. The chip and salsa were good. HIGHLY recommend the seafood Nachos!! House margaritas were very strong and delicious. Would go back to this place again and again!!! The bottom line is that this place left a smile on each of our party of four. Definitely check them out!”

“I eat here nearly every weekday. They deserve all the praise I can give them and more. They really are the cornerstone upon which the entire Dillard's office is balanced.”

“Really great location, easy to get in the drive thru and plenty of parking. There is an outdoor seating area with chairs & tables, plus umbrellas for shade. The lobby has lots of room, plugs for computers or iPads & the crew working here is always friendly and helpful.”

“Honestly, the rice and beans weren't the greatest but it was good. If that makes sense to you. I'd recommend it because we all have different taste buds and what I may have not liked, you probably will. The staff was so kind and helpful.”

“I walked in on a rainy day, and before I could sit down they had my coffee waiting just the way I wanted. This is a great old school location and is just what I want from a waffle house. Food rocked staff rocked, what more could you want?”

“Pretty good place! Lots of sauce flavor choices. Wish they had more meats but taste is great!”

“Today I had the catfish and shrimp dinner which comes with hushpuppies and 2 sides, and I went with mac-n-cheese and Cajun rice. The hushpuppies were tasty, the mac was decent but the Cajun rice kinda tasted like spicy Spanish rice. I was expecting more of a dirty rice taste. The shrimp and fish were both pretty good. I've been to another location of this place before and didn't like their tartar sauce. It's like they take regular tartar sauce and add seasonings to it. Not a fan. So I came prepared tonight with my own little jar of regular tartar sauce which paired well with the fish. I guess I wish they offered both sauces as an option but no biggie. I will say the service was excellent, with servers coming by regularly asking if I needed anything. The manager even came by with an extra piece of fish cuz he had noticed that one piece of fish in my tray looked a bit wonky. I didn't think there was anything wrong with it (I ate it with the rest of the fish). He just felt it wasn't up to his standards, aesthetically speaking (it was just folded over in weird position). Personally I like it when restaurants have standards like that because it shows that they care about their food and their customers. Well done.”

“As someone who has grown up going to fine dining establishments, I would rate Brave New at a 6.8 overall. First the restaurant is situated in a business building which makes it a little hard to find. I would prefer to go to a fine restaurant that has brick and mortar but that’s just me. Some people like the speak easy feeling of it. The service was great, very polite and professional. Ben was my server and to also tackle him with two kids he did exceptional. Now for the good stuff! Wine selection…4/10. This is solely based on the fact that this restaurant is compared to Allsop and Chappell, which has a great selection. When I go to a restaurant that is a fine dining restaurant, I look at the wine menu and should see a select few of wines that are hard to find in the area but to my disappointment it was mediocre. Food…7/10. I had venison chops with mashed potatoes and carrots. This dish disappointed me. As a venison lover I would expect to have a little dryness and gamey but this was just not the cooks night. Perfectly cooked but the taste was not to par. The bacon braise as advertised was not there at all and the venison tasted very gamey. The mashed potatoes were great. They were homemade with goat cheese in them and that threw me off in a clever way. I also tasted a few more of the dishes. The stuffed chicken was a 9/10. I’m not a chicken lover but this chicken had me swooning. It was juicy and tender paired with the Boursin cheese and was to die for. Presentation…3/10. The presentation of the plates was very careless and messy. I felt as if the plate was just thrown together and made to look. Could do better on that. The dessert…9.5/10. The desert was by far the best part. I had the homemade butterscotch ice cream and was some of the best I’ve ever had. But the homemade orange cheesecake was absolutely 10/10. It was creamy and fluffy with just the right amount of orange to not overpower the whole thing and that is a hard thing to do. Over all for this place to be compared to Allsop or Sullivans is an insult to those restaurants. I get it that this is an established restaurant in this area but definitely didn’t live up to the hype and could go through a regeneration of menu and selections. Also the food compared to price was off. They should definitely lower the prices for the food.”

“As you can see the philly is loaded! Very good sandwich. Pizza was amazing. Prices went up though so the menu in photos is outdated. Definitely worth trying out. My kids said their burgers were better than anywhere else we went on our trip.”

“I dined here 2 years ago and decided to give them another go. Overall it's just passable Chinese grub. The broccoli beef was a bit salty but the other dishes were ok. It's not a big buffet so there's not a lot of different dishes but for me it was enough. Probably 5th place for LR Chinese buffets.”

“This is a good location for a Starbucks but it’s a bit difficult to get your car into their drive thru in a way that makes sense. There are two drive up order stations and one walk up order station but no indoors area for customers. The two drive up order stations have lanes that wrap around the building in a confusing manner. The staff were super friendly & kind and the coffee was great.”

“Hot delicious chicken and okra... was not dried up like other places. The sweet tea was also awesome!”

“This is THE place for tacos! The tortillas are not from the store; they're fresh. The pastor meat is moist, flavorful and perfectly cooked. The fresh toppings like the cilantro, radishes and grilled onions are of great quality. The order came out in 7 minutes. The young man who took my order was friendly. 5 stars, bar none. Tornero' presto!”

“When you're the only white folks in the place, you know it's gonna be good! The meat was well seasoned, the refried beans were the best in town, and the horchata was smooth. And the servings were huge - especially the torta our son ordered. It may not have chandeliers and cloth napkins, but foodies go out for good food!”

“This place is having an identity crisis. Fancy, upscale food and a dive bar atmosphere with way too many TVs and immaculate bathrooms to boot. My family went here on a whim and didn't realize it was karaoke night. WAY TOO LOUD. I walked out of there with a headache. The margaritas didn't have enough alcohol. I'm pretty sensitive to the taste of alcohol and someone put tequila next to the drink and blew some fumes onto my drink. The food was really good though. I don't think it reflected the prices. It was a tad bit pricey. Overall it was good. I may come back, just not on Thursdays which will give you an immediate headache.”

“The food and drink where excellent! Their pupusas we're crispy yet still moist and savory with the pickled cabbage salad. I ordered only 2 this time but next time I'll order ahead.”

“I really enjoyed this place it was a full day with plenty to eat. They had several dishes to choose from. The waitress serve in and out. They will sit you at a table or assist you to your vehicle. Its like the high school cafeteria set up. Everyone greets you as you come in. If you are close by 65th street this is a good spot to eat.”

“I've eaten here several times, and it's become one of my top 3 favorite places to eat. The wings are some of the best in existence and the service is great as well. It doesn't have a fancy atmosphere, sports bar vibe, or any of that, but it's got everything I want. Overall just such a good experience. So much better than the chain wing places (Buffalo Wild Wings, etc). If chicken wings are your thing, this place will treat you right.”

“Whether you're a local or just passing through Little Rock..... You NEED TO STOP and have this amazing cheeseburger from excaliburger! “This place was great! The pizza was awesome, and we especially liked how the crust was rolled. Good sauce, cheese, and pepperoni. The wife lived how cold the draft beer was, best beer shes had in awhile. The salad was outstanding, and the service were had was great also. If we're ever in little rock again, we will definitely be coming back here.”
