“Good service and hot food! Although I wish they had their dim sum back! I’ve mainly ordered take out here, but decided to eat in. The food while Americanized, tasted pretty fresh but don’t expect it to be authentic. The hunan chicken extra spicy 🌶 is my go to. The hot and sour soup is always pretty good too. I’d say the main con is price. For two complete dinners and a drink it was around 40$. Which is on the higher side but the food was good. I’d really recommend going when they serve lunch and save some 💸💸. If in the area, I would take this over aw lins for sure. I do wish we had more Chinese options in LR 😔 though.”

“Pretty cool find. Better than “tropical smoothie” any day. And the lady who helped me was really nice. I think her name was Chloe? My new go to place for smoothies.”

“On a chilly, rainy Friday, our first trip to this Tacos for Life was a very nice experience. Easily accessible on Cantrell Road, the interior is warm and cozy and clean. Staff is very courteous and helpful, more like a local place than a fast food restaurant. Fish tacos and house salad were both unusual and delicious.”

“We recently dined here following my sister's college graduation. I ordered the grilled salmon, which was amazing. They don't have a cocktail menu, but the drinks we ordered were pretty good also. I am giving this place three (3) stars not because of the food, but for the quality of the service we received. We made a reservation ahead of time because we knew we would have a large group. We were seated in one of the private rooms available, which was nice. There were several errors with some of our orders and our servers were forgetting to bring out items that we ordered. I've previously worked as a server and am aware of how difficult and even overwhelming it can be to serve a large group of guests so I am able to extend some grace. However, the servers who were helping us were visibly annoyed and frustrated with us, and there was no demonstration of accountability when we brought the errors to their attention. The food and drinks were pretty good, but I doubt I would return to dine here as I did not feel valued or appreciated as a guest. Given the experience we had, I would definitely not recommend dining here if you have a large group.”

“Amazing food and the service is spectacular. We got the Atlantic Salmon and the chicken breast. For an appetizer we got the bruschetta which was fantastic and super flavorful. Dessert and wine were a must with the options. The server did a great job of helping us through their menu and giving suggestions.”

“Food was excellent. Can’t go wrong with the Sea Bass and lamb. May be the best lamb we’ve ever eaten. French onion soup was flavorful. Cocktails were fresh. Michael our waiter was very knowledgeable and very attentive. Definitely will be back.”

“Stop there for lunch Wife want it a salad chose the supreme salad she finished enjoy the meal . I had the Caesar salad, followed by a personal pan pizza with pineapple and Italian sausage. It was good as well. Nice atmosphere waitress, very courteous and engaged.”

“Really good food, the chips are the perfect thickness and salsa was pretty good as well. Their fajitas have lots of chicken and beef on them with a good ratio of fajita vegetables. The service was kinda slow and we felt like maybe they were understaffed. The waiter was nice but wasn’t around a lot to help.”

“I haven't been here in years. In fact, not since they moved to this location. Good food. Service was slow. Only 2 waitresses for the whole place. The food came out quickly, it just took a long time to get the order in and get drinks refreshed. Fair beer selection. No draft beer, despite the fact that they have numerous draft picks listed on their big chalkboard. I definitely plan to go back.”

“This is one of the several restaurants at the Promenade shops. As the name suggests, it has a variety of Asian-American cuisine. I have the drunken duck and as far as duck is concerned it was overcooked but it was still tasty. The fries rice served with it was a bit dry, at least compared to other fried rices I am used to. I also had the spicy tuna roll and it was excellent. The Thai spring rolls were good too. The bartender makes good drinks. Overall, not a bad spot but it can be a bit pricey compared to other Asian restaurants but it is also a bit nicer.”

“First time ordering from here. The delivery took a little long, and my soft shell crab was cold, but my air fryer can fix that. Other than that, the food is AMAZING!! The spicy crab salad is spicy, so foodie beware. The onion soup is pretty good. The Ichiro roll was superb! My husband got the chicken hibachi, and the portion was pretty nice, it also came with a salad and soup. Not disappointed at all. So glad I chose this restaurant tonight!!”

“Enjoyed an evening dinner with my mother. The ambience, food, and service were exceptional. Our waitress was very pleasant and friendly. The Chenal Parkway location was wonderful and there was adequate parking. I noticed that they also have a patio with fans, so when the weather cools, that would be a very nice seating area. I will definitely return to this location!”

“My kinda place! The happy hour special was great! The pizza itself had some of the best crust myself and my dining partner have ever had! The pizza toppings and sauce was also good, not the best but good. The salad was also tasty and large is big enough to share. The booths could use a bit of a facelift, but it was fine, that’s really the only negative I have. The server was very friendly, prompt, and helpful! So big points there. This place reminds me a lot of US pizza. The pizza and salad are very similar to one another. Not that it’s a bad thing. I feel the prices and pizza are a bit better here and it’s more my kinda place. I highly recommend trying pizza cafe west!”

“I had their food truck at a LR Rangers soccer game. It was delicious. I had the Irish burger with poutine fries. Very unique burger with Guinness onions, Irish whisky cheddar spread, garlic mayo, bacon, and a saurkraut slaw all on a croissant bun. Also tried their chocolate croissant and almond croissant. Very good.”

“This location has a very courteous and upbeat staff. The host greeted us friendly and with care honored our seating preference. Things got even better with our server Chris. He gave us plenty of time to review the menu and select drinks and entrees. Although seated outside, our table service was very timely. Chris was extremely attentive and assured that we had a pleasant dining experience. The entrees were beautifully plated. My hickory burger was 3/5⭐️; the hickory flavor was too faint. However, the truffle fries were excellent. My wife rated her lentil burger with sweet potato fries 5/5⭐️. The drinks—sweet tea and lemon limeade—were on point. The outdoor dining space was very clean and well kept. Our table was sparkling clean!!! Definitely will visit here again; menu offering is quite extensive. Highly recommend dining here.”

“Late night date night. Started the night off with the salsa and three dips (zucchini, house tomato and Caribbean) the zucchini has a more avocado taste but not so thick texture. The Caribbean has a mango chutney taste and the house tomato is the regular salsa. I had the 3 fish tacos which has a more pickled taste but were delicious. The cilantro lime rice was okay, bland and not much cilantro. The fajitas were piping hot and delicious. We had one drink which was delicious. Overall great atmosphere and good food, great service.”

“What a great spot for some Latin inspired chicken. I did not know what I was in store for but it was truly amazing. The chicken was so tender & flavorful, juicy & made to order. I had almost eaten all my food before I thought about taking a picture. The owner is super nice, he explained the cuisine because this was my first time in. They are so courteous, and it was super clean! Do yourself a favor & stop by. The next time I'm in the mood for something different for dinner, this is my spot.”

“Very competitive prices, clean interior. Service was fine. Food was very prompt, and flavorful. Hot and sour soup was one of the best I’ve had in the area. Hunan chicken extra spicy was the bees knees. I didn’t have any issues or complaints, I’d come back again for sure.”

“The best Taziki’s we’ve ever been to! Obviously, the food is superb, that goes without saying… we got the Greek Salad with lamb, chicken Feast and Beef Feast. Their roasted potatoes have fantastic seasoning, too. There is an outdoor patio, small seating room with a little privacy and large TV and the drive thru is fast as well.”

“Pretty standard pizza. The thin crust supreme pizza I got was just okay. The crust was pretty doughy instead of being crispy. If I ever go back, I’d ask for it to be extra crispy. The flavor of the toppings was just good but the pizza sauce wasn’t that flavorful. Their salads looked good though”

“Update 2023 We wanted to give them another try and it was surprisingly better this time around. My husband ordered the La Poblano with grilled chicken served on a bed Poblano peppers, mushrooms and onions. The peppers were cooked well and the flavor was great to the palate. I ordered the La Mejor which considered of chalupa texana and chicken quesadilla covered in cheese sauce. Large portions and very tasty. I was more excited about the new server they have on hand. Actually I was fascinated and thought how my grandchildren would love them. Too know they make robo vacuum cleaners well now there are robo servers. Right out of the Jetsons cartoons. That alone will have me coming back Great job ❣️ After being on a Keto diet this would be my cheat meal Oh boy I do love Mexican food Once we were seated we had to wait a few minutes then the server came by and asked if we wanted menus. Yes please. We ordered and we never saw her again until time to pay. We had to ask someone else for water. Their margaritas were good and strong. The cheese dip was blah. Melted cheese with no spice. The salsa was perfect. I ordered the Mocajete and my husband ordered beef fajitas. What I received wasn't what I expected at all. The Mocajete had diced pineapple on top which made the sauce sweet. I was able to remove most of the pineapple but it didn't change the flavor. In addition, it had two large slices of cheese that never melted. Not a fan. The side dish of rice was clumpy and cold. This was our third visit and last. There are many other Mexican Restaurants to visit and dine in. I will have to wait until I can have another cheat meal. 🙁”

“Great food and Good Service! I gave it a 4 star because I couldn't do 4.5 stars. I only docked it a .5 star because it took our waiter long periods of time to get back to us and it really wasn't packed but she was really nice!!”

“Loved it!! We had a Grilled Chicken Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries and the Chicken Salad with Fruit plate. Everything tasted so incredibly fresh, and we genuinely enjoyed our meal!! Our server Charlie was amazing!! She went far above and beyond for us, and gave us some great information about the area! If you are on the road and looking for some healthier options, you need to go to Izzy's!!”

“Food is fantastic! The prices are really high though, in my opinion, for what you get on some items. The Cheeseboard appetizer is $18 but only comes with three itty-bitty pieces of bread. 🫤 The salmon is $40 which is on the high end of normal (again in my opinion). The salmon tonight is Fig-glazed and really good. Their teriyaki-honey is WAY BETTER but it’s only been on the menu once since I’ve been coming here. Cuban sandwich is $15 which is def a fair price. They were so busy my “higher priced opinion” probably doesn’t matter and the food really is good. Just can’t come here as often as I’d like bc of pricing. Chris the bartender was SUPER friendly and shook people’s hands. Made us feel more welcomed than previous visits. Pics and bill included below.”

“Loved it! We usually order delivery. But we quickly found out it was so much better in person. Not a big fan of the breads nor the Italian wedding soup. We had the shrimp scampi and the spinach tortellini. I can say that the spinach tortellini was DIVINE!! The creamy sauce was a total delight. For dessert, we had a delicious tiramisu.. The service was warm and welcoming. It was a comfortable place to eat”
