Grampa's Catfish & Seafood

Best fried shrimp around. Best brownie around too. We had fried catfish, fried shrimp, mahi tacos, okra, and onion rings. Everything was so good.

Driven by here several times. The hotel I was staying at recommended this place. I was seated right away by a man behind the counter. A server brought me coleslaw and took my drink order. I asked for an Arnold Palmer. It wasn't very good. But things improved from there. I ordered pinto beans, the medium order of cat fish, and hush puppies. The hush puppies were amazing. Maybe the best I've ever had. The fish came out piping hot, and it too was very good. The coleslaw was good, and the server brought me as much of that as I wanted. This is a real mom and pop restaurant. Great local feel. Please visit them. You'll be glad you did.

My significant other and I eat here quite often. He loves catfish and is very picky when it comes to this kind of entrée. However, he raves about the catfish and chicken tenders. The shrimp is also very good and a good size. The sides that are offered are really good as well. The service is really good here and they make you feel very welcomed. They serve lunch from 11-2 and dinner from 4-8. The food is made fresh to-order.

Not near the place it once was. Food was decent. Pricy for what you get. We went for lunch and it took 40 minutes to get food. Ordered fish and chicken they brought fish and shrimp. Took a bit out of the fish as I figured they would just bring out the chicken….they took the whole plate of food and let me sit there for another 5 minutes or longer then bought out the same plate with shrimp gone and Chicken added…….

I had never been to Grandpas until Saturday night. The place and a very comfortable "home" like feeling. Very welcoming. Our waiter was quick and friendly. He was so polite and our food was perfect. Every. Single. Bite.

Good job to the kitchen crew and staff! The managers should be very proud of their workers!
