Louisiana Famous Fried Chicken

When I was searching for food to eat out of boredom and wanting to try something new, I came across this restaurant. I was thorougly impressed! The food was perfectly seasoned! Not too breaded and not small portions either. I did a smorgasbord of food for my family as we do with new restaurants to get a feel and taste of a vast variety of their menu. I tell you the ENTIRE family loved everything!! The chicken, the fish, the shrimp, mashed potatoes, okra, corn nibbles (my favorite now), the chicked fried rice, even the pies were awesome!!! I give the rating of 5 out of 5 for flavor, freshness and taste of the food, the service!!! This is definitely a new spot for me and my family!

Man, I really want to like this place. The chicken is good, the gumbo is great, the mashed potatoes are buttery and dense, and the people are so nice. Only issue is that I've been here 2 times and both times they've forgotten parts of my order.

The first time it was a slice of pie, the second time it was almost half the order (pint of gumbo, large mashed potatoes, large mac n cheese all lost to the void). I caught the missing pie the first time, but the second time my order was around $45 worth of food and almost $20 of it was missing :( I made it home before finding out and didn't have the energy to drive back the 15 minutes in the storm to the restaurant to get it.

The food's great if they get you all of it, so make sure to check before driving off!

I think in the beginning this place was crazy busy and people had to wait for long this way I am seeing lots of bad reviews but honestly I am amazed by their service and food. Best fried chicken ever
