I’ve been here before and the last time was not good, we had a group of over 30people and it became a wild brunch when it came down to tickets. I’d have to say this time was better we had a group of about 15 and checks were all right. Food was good. I got the wings. The atmosphere is lively and honestly I had no idea they had street art out back. If you love art, enjoy American food and don’t mind a louder atmosphere then this is the place to go. Inexpensive and kid friendly.
In town for a bike ride, friends and I met at Skinny J's on a Friday night. The place was busy, though we did get seated quickly.
I went for Old Flame burger and sweet potato fries. Burger was cooked perfectly and having the vegetables on the side kept them cold and a good temp differential with the burger when I smashed them together.
I could see trying more of the menu next time I am in town
Our experience at Skinny J's Drag Brunch in North Little Rock was an absolute blast! With a group of 8, we had a fantastic time. The food was delicious, hitting the spot perfectly. But what truly stole the show were the incredible drag queens who served as both hosts and entertainers. They were an absolute hoot, delivering non-stop laughter and fabulous performances. The combination of great food and top-notch entertainment made for a memorable and entertaining brunch experience. Whether you're a fan of drag culture or just looking for a fun time with friends, Skinny J's Drag Brunch is a must-visit for an unforgettable and lively dining adventure!
Food is pretty good! I really enjoyed the fried shrimp, it was pretty crunchy but not over battered. This would be a really good place to grab drinks at.
Thanks to Cori I stayed. I came here for Shrimp and grits which they no longer serve but I was convinced to stay by Cori the bartender. She was the best part of the experience. The service was great and they food is a B-. Everything very rich needing water after every bite. I tried the crab cakes, broccoli, fried green tomatoes and sweet potato fries. I wanted the garlic mashed potatoes but they only serve them after 4. Overall if I’m in the area again I’ll try other dishes. Big plus with the military discount!!
