Don’t pass up this place!

Tucked behindhe lounge is cozy and welcoming, decked out in Razorback glory.

The proprietors were friendly and helpful and even brought out samples of the brisket for diners to try. (Gotta go back for more of that!)

And speaking of lunch, my son and I both had the rib meal (four bones and two sides). He went for double mac n cheese and I had green beans and baked beans. Those ribs were perfectly smoked with a nice dry rub and hit our plates just this side of fall off the bone tender. That flavor! There was sauce on the side but they didn’t need it. I tried it anyway and it was solid: a little smokey and a little sweet and worked well with the rub.

Now, let’s talk sides. Those green beans were straight outta my mom’s kitchen: lotsa bacon drippings and black pepper, sprinkled with diced onion. Mercy! The baked beans were dressed up with a touch of their personal sauce and were thick enough to be enjoyed off a fork.

Did I mention how friendly the proprietors were?

Hidden little gem. Best ribs I’ve had in a long time! Super moist.

Excellent food, awesome ribs, potato salad, baked beans, and mac and cheese. Great prices and fast service.

Thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere inside the Box. Food is fantastic! Don't miss an opportunity to have some of the best BBQ. Some of the best brisket you can imagine. Sides were excellent as well.

You will find no better BBQ than Smokin Joe Box!! The turkey legs are so tender they literally fall off the bone, the wings and brisket are deeply smoked and mouthwatering!! Don't skip on the sides either, spaghetti, green beans or even smoked cabbage, it's all Amazing! 15/10 gotta go , it's a True Arkansas hidden gem
