The food was a let down. With it being a mac & cheese restaurant I suppose I was expecting something along the lines of a homemade or southern restaurant style where the cheese is a primary player but the amount of cheese and flavor were both lacking. The chicken and beef in the dishes were on par with what I would expect to get. The value of the food for the price is definitely not there especially with the lack of cheese/flavor. The service was incredibly slow as well for there to be only one other person in the restaurant and they already had their food.
First visit ever. My wife got the lobster I got the Cuban. I gotta say both were good. Price was about average for a destination restaurant. Manager meet n greet was a great addition. Super customer service.
Why you ask only 4 stars then. To honest prices seemed higher than expected for a local restaurant, but like I said good for a destination restaurant. Flavor of the food. It tasted good, and something different, but nothing that just popped with flavor in my mouth. The grilled sour dough bread was perfect though.
Anyone complaining in the reviews has lost their mind! My gf got the chicken parm bowl, I did a BYO Grilled Cheese with pepp, meatballs, pepper jack, cheddar and marinara and a BYO bowl with cheese sauce, mango habanero sauce, corn, jalapenos, pepper jack, Parm, and breaded chicken. Everything was pretty damn good and will def be going back! 10/10 would recommend.
I went on opening day at dinner time (fully expecting to be standing outside in the 100 degree heat) and was pleasantly surprised the line wasn't out the door. That is not because they weren't busy, it's because they move people through the line fairly quickly. It seems they already had most, if not all the kinks worked out (besides the AC, it was pretty warm in there, but it was literally 100 degrees outside). Easy to understand menu and quick and simple ordering process. Think Subway but for pasta and grilled cheeses. Got home, opened the heart-shaped bowl (clever) and dug in. Lights out amazing! I wanted to drive back up and get more but my wife said that was excessive. Ha! Anyway, great first of MANY experiences. I'll be back and I'd suggest you go give them a try too. P.S. sorry it's a picture of the empty bowl. It was so good I forgot to take one before.
