We love this place we drive from Little Rock to go here at least every weekend for lunch or dinner . The staff is always pleasant and very welcoming you can always spark up a conversation with the people across from you as everyone is so friendly. Did I mention that the food is delicious and always hot when it hits the table they have some really great sugar-free desserts too for those of you that enjoy sugar-free or are diabetic. They even have a patio which is great for bigger crowds or outside dining during the summer or warmer months. I definitely get this place a thumbs up when you think about the people that live out here the food in the hospitality you can't beat that anywhere.
We love the variety of food options here, and the portions are always more than generous. The down home rotation of different desserts is also a plus. Sometimes you want a steak, other days you want some good old fashioned soul food. Other times you just want a big juicy burger with all the different choices of cheese and toppings. You can get it all in one place here.
The atmosphere is that of a cozy diner, yet the seating is spacious enough where you have plenty of room and don't feel cramped or stacked against other tables. I like that they don't feel the need to have music blasting loudly across the entire place like some other eateries do. One side is a themed library with tons of books. They also have kid friendly options.
Prices are fair in today's economy, and certainly for the generous portions you get with everything.
The friendly staff are always personable, friendly, and a good balance of always being near enough and checking if you need something, yet not hovering (and better yet, not disappearing). If you're just passing through and looking for a place to eat, you can't go wrong here. They also have great looking breakfast options that I want to try sometime.
The food was really great and the service even better. The only part of the dining experience that we wished we could have changed would be starting with dessert first so that we could have had more room for the fried chocolate pie, cheese cake, and key lime pie. We'll definitely be back again soon.
Not the first time we have dined here but it was the most disappointing of our visits. We love the quieter atmosphere and the staff were friendly and prompt. The issue was the food. Our burgers were overcooked but were still good. The fries were good as well. My daughters chicken fingers were absolutely horrible, as was the ranch sauce that came with it. The fries pies were really good too!
All in all, we will still be back.
Fried mushrooms are awesome, great taste, great price too! Veggie salad for $8 really needs to be made with spring mix! Iceberg lettuce with 2 bites of Romain lettuce thrown in isn't worth it!! Server was great!
