Really good place to go. Taco salad was great...strawberry pie even better!

It's hard to type a review for this place because I don't know where to start. The atmosphere is adorable, vintage decor all around. The food was some of the best food I have ever had. It was an experience. If you're a true foodie, you would drive to this town just to eat here. The place was clean, the staff was kind. Geez Louise, if you don't come here, you're crazy. We will be back!

OMG!
I have traveled near and far, finally stopped here at Skylark Cafe. Let me just say; "WELL WORTH THE WAIT!!"
Dinner was Steak Ribeye med/rare with beaten mash potatoes, and green beans from a garden. YES; A garden look, feel, and taste.
Dessert was a Fresh Off the Vine Strawberry Pie and I melted in my seat as I felt my childhood overtake my mind and sight.
These folks know what they are doing people!!

This place was great! Definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. The cafe offered indoor and outdoor seating and the atmosphere is really inviting. The food was delicious and all seemed so fresh. Most of the menu items seemed to be healthy choices. They also offer a wide variety of beers. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I will definitely be making another stop when I’m in the area!

So I was running in for a late lunch. By late I mean 2:50!

The staff was very friendly and helpful. French onion soup was homemade and has a very rich flavor. Walnut salad was fresh, grilled chicken was cooked perfectly and was very moist, candied walnuts and crasins added just enough sweetness. I can’t wait to go back and try something different when I have more time.

By the way the cakes looked amazing but I didn’t have the time to stay and try one.
