Environment is KEY with me! Clarke’s grill will satisfy your pallet and your soul with wonderful conversations with the owners of the establishment! The duo husband and wife are so lovely and kind, they come out and talk with everyone who is in the dining room. It is cozy and…… let’s talk about the music…..
WONDERFUL!!!!!!! I love Jamaican music, it goes hand in hand with the awesome service to the moment you step out of the door. Your experience will not leave you, and that is very important to me and my family. It keeps us coming back for more!!!!! The food is indescribably DELICIOUS!!!! There green beans….. OMG!!!! The Banana Pudding!!!!!
Everything is delightful!!!! Hurry on over and treat yourself, treat your family!!!! You’ll thank me later!

So glad we found this place. After visiting Jamaica over three years ago and falling in love with the country and it’s food, we’ve been on a search for some authentic Jamaican food ever since. The owner is from Jamaica and his father still owns a hotel there.

We started out with some Ting and it was so good! So thankful we were able to enjoy this refreshing drink again. We also tried the Jerk chicken patty. These are not made in house and it wasn’t my favorite thing I tried. My husband and I both had the pulled pork sandwich with fries. It was the lunch special and only $10 from 11-2 lunch hours. The sandwich was okay, but the star here was the Jerk sauce. Our waitress brought us some extra in a cup and I used all of it on my sandwich and the fries. So good!

We will be back and next time I’d like to try one of the dinners. The prices are very reasonable for the portion sizes. I’d recommend this place to anyone who loves Jamaican food or just good food in general.

We stumbled upon the hidden gem and it was fantastic! The owner, Davon, cooks up a traditional Jamaican meal for you and your family and friends, and will gladly answer any questions you have about the fare (except for his ox tail recipe. That’s a secret!) You definitely want to check out Clarke’s Island Grill on North Greenwood. We will be back for sure!

The oxtail and brown stew chicken are out of this world amazing. The baked beans were some one the best I've had. Drove an hour and a half to eat here its amazing.

If you haven't tried Clarke's you are missing out. The food is delicious and the staff are awesome. We had the jerk wings, jerk fries and cabbage. We also tried the banana pudding. The wings fell off the bone, the fries were perfect and the cabbage was some of the best I've had. It was all amazing. I am willing to bet all their food is this good. Give them a try!
