Delicious ribs. Nothing to complain about except for their potato salad. A littlw too much of a mustard taste.
Love the place. But they were out of beef at noon. Needs better management if you ask me. This is because I have food half my adult like.
Well I tried to keep my hopes neutral that way I wouldn't be too disappointed. It's a good thing I didn't get them up. I ordered the ribs and sliced beef combo with sliced tomatoes and baked beans.
The tomato was your typical beef steak variety you'd expect to get in a hamburger. It's was good but nothing special, not that I expected it to be. The baked beans were pretty good, sweet with a hint of smoke, and overall good flavor.
The sliced beef was where the "meh" started. It lacked much flavor, was on the watery side and had to be rescued by a generous dose of BBQ sauce and salt. It was cooked good but the flavor just wasn't there. It's as if a rub had been slapped on half way through cooking and had to time to actually season it.
The pork ribs looked excellent, appeared to have a good seasoning and when sliced apart, had a nice smoke ring. The smoke flavor was very mild, as was the test of the flavor. By mild, I mean nearly non-existent except for the very outer layer. On the plus side they weren't dry.
Maybe, if there's a next time, it'll be better than during a Tuesday lunch rush.
