“I'm learning things about Arkansas bbq. Some of these restaurants we are visiting have been around for decades and the locals swear by them. While I wouldn't necessarily continue to go to them, because of differing definitions of how the meat gets smoked, these places continue to do well. JJ's is one of these examples. Brisket doesn't really taste smoked or bbqed but has a decent flavor. Sausage is delicious. Baked beans were the best part of the meal and the coleslaw was just average. Employees were very nice. Would go back in a pinch.”

“My how things have changed! No more steam table of hot, fresh food! Understandable to a degree, but still disappointing! The ice tea was definitely OLD and it was horrible! Chicken was tasty, can't get one recipe wrong if it's shipped in already battered! One cashier was ride, but one was very hospitable. But the bad is what gets these type 3 star reviews. Customer service could be better yet overall due to scarcity of variety in Eldorado we would go back!”

“This place used to be really good. It was one of the spots I visited when I came home. I ordered a 2 pc meal with an apple pie. First, the apple pies have changed. It's like some a a crescent roll sometimes that they deep fry and it's almost $4 now. I didn't care for it at all. The tea is has changed. It doesn't taste fresh brewed and taste like it's made from concentrate. I have been coming here for years and was truly disappointed. Do not stop in the drive thru! It is extremely, annoyingly slow!”

“It was good. The service was great the place was clean. It's a mom and pop joint, hence the name. It's not a chain that's my best selling point. We got in fast and were seated quick. This is the type of place every little town needs. As far as the food for the pizza it was ok, the salad bar was better and the cinnamon rolls were the best, it's with going there just for the cinnamon rolls. We will go again!”

It's nice to have a place so close to grab a bite to eat being I am from Baton Rouge where everything is a step away. Living in Urbana has been a culture shock for me but Dana having scrumptious food around the corner is a bit of relief.”
