Delicious food. Chopped sirloin is unbelievably tender, house vinaigrette is delicious. And. Those. Fries! Hard-working staff is on the go at this local, downstairs joint.
I love Hugo’s. The staff is super quick even on a busy night and the burgers are out favorite around. If you have space for dessert, I recommend you get it! It’s always clean and it’s a fun atmosphere.
Also a great place to go when you want a Fayetteville favorite. Do be aware that this place does get busy in the dinner hours so plan to come early or know you will wait a little bit. Service is always great and the ambiance is even neater. I find something new I haven't seen before in there decor every time I come here. Highly suggest a burger, chocolate moose, or their chicken strips with the sauce it comes with.
Hubby and I went to Hugo's for the first time last night. I wish I would have taken food pics but it was all devoured before I could. The atmosphere was fun, casual, local, friendly. Our server Sydney was very attentive, fun, and had great menu tips when we asked. She recommended a great local beer!
We split the smoked cheddar burger (without onion) done medium-well and got the basket of fresh cut fries. We wanted to have room for dessert. Both were absolutely delicious! So much so that we talked about skipping dessert to get another burger! We didn't leave one bite of burger or fries and even munched some of the yummy chips.
We got the hot peach and amaretto crepe a la mode for dessert. Every bite was like all we love about Autumn. It was like walking into one of those cute stores or craft fairs with apples and pumpkins and colored leaves and it all smells like fruit and cinnamon. Love loved loved it.
The bartender/cashier, sorry we didn't get her name, was also so lovely. She is building a tiny house. She as well as Sydney were excellent examples of the culture at Hugo's!
Best burger in the states. Smoked cheddar is the way to go. Atmosphere is grunge but clean! Service was fast and always had my drink filled. 10/10 will go again.
