Loved it! Food was amazing so was the service, highly recommend!
I'm glad I was intrigued to order the smoked green beans. Those things had the best flavor I wasn't expecting or explain. You know it's a good products when I'm willing to drunk the juice after eating the beans.
The fresh cut fries weren't too greasy or over seasoned. I was recommended to purchase the brisket as it seems to be the best seller, so I order the pull pork sandwich with coleslaw and added the smoked green beans. I'm not sure how long it's been at this location, but I'm glad I decided to stop!! The next time i decide to order from here, I will order the brisket along with a side of ribs to see if it's worth in addition to a different side like mac & cheese or smoked sausage.
Well worth checking them out!
I stopped in for a late lunch today as I walking down the Razorback Greenway under MLK Blvd. I could smell the smokey Bar-B-Q aroma and decided to check them out. It's a simple food trailer, but they have plans to expand into the old blue 514 Filling Station building.
I had the brisket sandwich which was really tender and well seasoned. Smiley served it on a toasted bun with sause on the side. The flavorful and joicey brisket needed no sause, but I did dip it into the "Awsome Sause" a few time. It came with seasoned fries and a side of zesty (not sweet) coleslaw. I enjoyed it all so much that I forgot that I had forgotten to order a drink with it until I was leaving!
Smiley came out and sat with me to chat while I ate and chatted with me. He's really a interesting guy and passionate about his food.
Please, go have lunch or dinner at Smiley's Smokehouse. You will be glad you did.
