“We immediately made this our new favorite restaurant whenever we go to the V.A. Hospital. It's right down the road and the food is authentic and the prices are fair. “The restarutant experience starts with walking in the door. Where the food was better than some 5 star steakhouses we've been to, and we were greeted promptly, it went downhill from there. Perhaps some better training of the staff on remembering to place orders for appetizers, refilling drinks, removing obviously emptied and stacked dishes would be a start. Great steak, poor service. For a $70 meal for 2, I hoped for better. Been in this town 6 years- first time we went and probably the last.”

“I love to come to the place for their taco Tuesdays. This place used to be a King Burrito before the current owner bought it, but it's basically the same restaurant, which I love. Don't change something that isn't broke. My a group from my campus ministry comes here weekly as our usual spot stopped doing the deal that was the reason we went, but this place has been more than a good replacement. I recommend getting the burritos as the portions are large and great quality.”

“First time here. Corporate dinner. Large, private room. Excellent wait staff. Salad was tasty; the aged cheddar slices were perfect with the balsamic. Dinner was fantastic: red, mashed potatoes with just minute hints of potato skin; glazed, sliced, cooked carrots with honey, brown sugar, and butter; and butterflied chicken breast with capers and a lovely sauce. Carrot cake was selected for dessert-- superb. Moist but not soggy, and the frosting was whipped but not airy, and a slight creamy tang, but not too sharp. That is how a carrot cake should taste. Very nice place; ignorant of the prices because of the holiday dinner.”

“Braum's is great on every level. The burgers, the ice cream, the groceries. Braum's milk is the best milk you can get without sucking it straight out of the cow yourself. Their frozen yogurt cones are a great value and have the best texture imaginable. It's also extremely cool you can get yogurt instead of fries with your meal. It's also weird, but charming, how every Braum's feels like it's still 1995 and the carefree days of childhood will last forever. Until you step back out into the cold, harsh world and wish you could just go back, eat ice cream forever, and never hurt again.”

“Amazing place. They were very open to me ( recently 18 ) playing on their tables even though the establishment seemed to be more in the middle age to older adult demographic. I love the music taste with the 70s to 90s rock and the food is no slouch. I had the Swiss and Mushroom burger. The patty itself was juicy and the buns were warm and well toasted. The mushrooms , an ingredient notorious for over seasoning, were made perfectly. They have plenty of tables for playing all of which are kept in good condition. To my knowledge they have a well stocked bar and their TVs are up to date. Their consumer service was great and they were very polite. They also host tournaments and have a teams you can join. I can't recommend this place enough if you're looking for a good place to play some pool.”

“Alexandria and her team absolutely outdid themselves for our wedding. Not only are they extremely friendly and kind, they make everyone feel important- no matter who they are. We love their pizza so much that we had to have them cater our wedding! They were on-time, ran smoothly, and the price is fair for the wonderful quality of food they serve. Alex went above and beyond- after our crazy evening and running around like a crazy person, we found that Alex and her team had left personal pizzas with our favorite crust (the Ezekiel crust). We hadn't even requested this! It made me cry to see the thought and care she had put into such a simple thing. She had even written "Mr." and "Mrs." on our respective boxes. On top of all that, she even remembered our favorite pizzas and we hadn't talked to her about our faves for a few months (it was probably in passing, too, that we briefly mentioned our faves). I can't wait to eat Wicked Wood every special occasion we get- the quality of the ingredients, the creativity, and the demeanor of the team make Wicked Wood Fired pizza our absolute favorite eatery. Their food is AMAZING! Thank you for existing.”

The whole place can be packed with regulars. Its 21+, as it is smoker friendly. They play all of the sports games you can think of, and the crowd gets really into it! Such a fun place! During the summer time, it's great to sit outside on the patio, and they even have a stage for performers! If you want a laid back place for your food and drink needs, but a place where everybody knows everybody, and it's like family there, then this is the place for you. The owner is always there, and always engaged with everyone there. Hands down one of the best places to go to.”
