As a vegetarian, I really appreciate being able to go to a BBQ place and have options when I eat with family and friends. Girls Gone BBQ put thought and effort into their side items as well as their menu items that are meatless. The grilled greens were smokey and delightful. The apple slaw was cool, crisp and a nice relief from the spicy flavor of some of the sides(I think it was the black eyed peas). They're make you sniffle a little spicy, but not make you sweat spicy. The seasonal butternut squash was my favorite. Charred, in a good way. Great flavor. Everything definitely has a smokey profile to it, but I loved it and thought each vegetable choice was thoughtful. The peas needed to cook a teensy bit longer and were somehow slightly cold in comparison to the hot greens and squash, but they were delicious. As a new restaurant, working out these tiny kinks comes with time. The macaroni and cheese was too spicy for my kiddo, but I loved it, and I usually hate macaroni and cheese.

I looked at the bottom of the bowls and plates because they're so cute and have a vintage vibe to them. Seating was comfortable and staff was helpful with several follow up requests for dessert and to go boxes. This place is definitely LGBTQIA friendly and you can feel safe with the staff there. Unsweet tea was well made and I appreciated the eco-conscious to go containers. I'll be back to try the other vegetarian options and share the delicious looking pulled pork with others I bring.

Dana and Girls Gone BBQ was so easy to work with! Definitely saw her catering expertise with our large event... we had plenty of awesome food with just enough left over, but not too much. Everyone loved all of the items we got.
Very thankful for Dana answering our endless questions on how best to prepare and set up. Would definitely use for a large event again!

Too expensive, $5 extra just for brisket that was 30% solid fat and dry. Pulled pork was tossed in sauce and somehow still dry. Mac and cheese and slaw were good. Potato salad was very bland. Baked beans were good. Grilled greens were way undercooked. Did not really care for the honey with the cornbread, too strong of a whiskey flavor. Black Eyed Peas tasted canned.

Unique BBQ addition to NWA! I’m glad there’s another place that’s good in its own way. I loved the chicken sammie, particularly the slaw, and cornbread with the rye whiskey honey sauce. The portions were also large. Oh and don’t forget the nana pudding! The place is an old-school vibe. I appreciated the tampons in the bathroom for guests as well.

This is a real competitor to Wright's BBQ. Possibly the best pulled pork I've had. The Arkansasuage is handmade and very tasty! Great pepper jack Mac and cheese, very creamy and cheesy. The cornbread was moist and not too sweet. Prices are on par with other local BBQ spots. We will be returning soon!
