Wright's Barbecue

Outstanding hole in the wall, well really old small house! Limited seating but picnic tables in the tent with heaters just contributed to the excellent bbq experience even in December. Be prepared to stand in line outside and perhaps make some new friends. I had the brisket plate with side of mac & cheese, smoked beans and an extra rib for good measure. All were worth the waiting in line.

This place is the real deal. Coming from the Austin area, I've eaten amazing BBQ. Wright's hangs in there with the very best. Melt-in-your-mouth brisket, tender and perfectly smoked pork ribs, along with a wonderful cheddar-jalapeño sausage gave me a great sampling of the meats. The collard greens were perfectly cooked and delightfully spicy. The mac and cheese provided a rich foil for the rest of the flavors. I will definitely be coming back!

I had a brisket with mashed potato and they were super delicious. Even though there was a long line, the service was fast.

Unfortunately, I did not have a chance to taste the beef ribs because there was no more at the time I ordered.

Indeed, I will visit again and taste their beef ribs.

My husband and brother came in today as new customers and boy let's just say we came out as super happy customers! Food is amazing and everyone is so kind. We felt so welcomed. moment we entered we were greeted with so much joy and they were all so bubbly. Definitely coming back, and I will tell more friends and family about this great place.

Great barbecue and great atmosphere. The staff is awesome and helpful if you've never been. They'll recommend if you can't make a decision, and maybe toss you a sample. This was my first time and was recommended by some of the owner's family i know. Did not disappoint. Will be back next time I'm in the "Nam".
