Sam's Southern Eatery

Food is great. Just check your order before leaving. I've asked for condiments on the side three times in the last month and they were not included. This was the tomato lettuce onions and pickles. Other than that, food is really good.

Ordered twice here. Giving a mid level star rating. First experience was great, recommend the catfish. Second order got burgers and they missed an entire order for one of my kids which needless to say I then went hungry for the night. The burgers were soggy and lackluster to say the least. Burgers are not properly fried and lack that diner quality in preparation. I would suggest the chef season the patties as it had no seasoning at all when I took a bite of my burger that i gave to my kid. Definitely do not recommend the burgers at all. Not worth the $80 spent. Definitely making burgers at home next time for half the cost!

Tried the southern double cheese burger this time. I was very pleasantly surprised!

The catfish was great. I ordered mine without seasoning on anything. The staff is very friendly. I took a lot of food home. The portions are huge. Try it out. I think you will like it! Finally a great catfish place!

Man I do love Sams southern eatery. I have been to a couple of different locations and this one didn’t disappoint. The okra was amazing, just crisp and flavored perfectly. They always do a great job with the fish. This was my first time with the red beans and rice, but it will not be my last. I’d you are looking for a good fish fry give sams a try.
