“About a year ago, I emailed the company about constantly upcharging every customer with a large drink without their consent. I never received a reply. For a large family, we thought we were paying a certain price on our meals, but we were being charged extra every time for a large drink when we didn't even need a large drink. I finally caught on when the numbers weren't adding up. They made adjustments after my complaint and started asking customers if a medium drink is good. I can deal with that. Ask me before charging me extra. Now, they are back to charging for a large again without asking the customer. I really can't support a company that will be so sneaky to loyal customers. The first time, I sent a private email. Now, the public needs to know.”

“Great place to have a meal. We were there at lunchtime, the parking lot was full, which is a good sign. Walked in and still had plenty of seating open. I had the shrimp basket, which was excellent. My Mrs had the 4 rib meal and said it was absolutely fantastic. The ribs are dry rubbed and smoked so you can add your sauce. The only negative was the iced tea. Service was great even as busy as they were. If we are back in the area we will definitely stop in again.”

The staff is so kind and genuine, I love how they invest in each of their customers and get to know them. The food is comforting and delicious. My go-to is either the tea room sampler or the BLT. The chef uses fresh veggies and herbs from their garden so the food always tastes incredible. Their wide selection of tea makes you want to come back just so you can try them all! You get to pick your own tea cup out of a selection of gorgeous antique cups. The tea room is an incredible place!”

The one consistent problem I have seen and always hear about when at PEC is the discrepancy in meal pricing. You can literally order the same meal as the person beside you in line, and both will pay a different price. There isn't any signs to explain pricing for meals or ala carte. There's a common perception of over charging amongst staff and students at PEC. If the contractor would be more transparent on pricing, I would likely give 4 stars.”

“this was one of my favorite places i went to while i was in little rock, and i wish i had gone earlier in my trip so that i could have been a repeat customer! i ordered the broccoli cheese soup and a chocolate chip cookie. the man who helped me was so incredibly kind and friendly, and i realized later that he actually gave me two cookies since one of them was crumbling. the soup was good! the broccoli pieces were a bit firm for my liking, but it was still tasty. the best part though was the little roll they included to go with the soup—it was SO soft and delicious. the cookies were also yummy. there is quite a good bit of seating available inside, along with power outlets if you're looking for a place to get some work done. the service is friendly and warm, the food is good, and the prices are super affordable. it was clear just from my one visit that it's a business that's doing a lot of good for the community! can't wait to go back next time i'm in little rock!”
