Normally it is a great experience. But they had just ended a promotion to get free cheese sticks with your pizza. We didn't know this and and if they still did that. We were told they did. After we paid, we were told they didn't do it anymore. The manager, instead of making it right, said that no one had told us that they still did it (contradicting what we told her) and so she couldn't help us out. 3/14/17 They lost a star today. First, I called to order pizza. I was put on hold and then hung up on. When I called back, the woman I spoke to sounded like I was bothering her, and she didn't want to help me. They are lucky they are in a convenient location and I like their pizza. They're service is garbage.”

“My kinda place! The happy hour special was great! The pizza itself had some of the best crust myself and my dining partner have ever had! The pizza toppings and sauce was also good, not the best but good. The salad was also tasty and large is big enough to share. The booths could use a bit of a facelift, but it was fine, that’s really the only negative I have. The server was very friendly, prompt, and helpful! So big points there. This place reminds me a lot of US pizza. The pizza and salad are very similar to one another. Not that it’s a bad thing. I feel the prices and pizza are a bit better here and it’s more my kinda place. I highly recommend trying pizza cafe west!”

“First I’d like to say, the older lady that was working was very nice and helpful. The place is definitely a local landmark, it’s been there forever and was of course in the sling blade movie. So I get the significance of it and I hate to rag on it but I am just honest when it comes to food 🤷🏻. It wasn’t great. Maybe in its glory years, but to me it just seems to be satisfied being mediocre. I get people love it, but I’m not from the area and I just judge on what I am given. Starting with negatives…the burger and fries were just not great. The burger was expensive for what it is and rather small for a “large”. The burger itself tasted ok, if you’ve had a burger at any run of the mill diner, it tasted the same to me. The patty seems like it was premade. The fries were just fried frozen crinkle fries, once again just ok and generic. Onion rings fared no better unfortunately, the oil needed to be changed. It was obviously old oil and the onion rings once again were frozen. Just ok, would be way better with fresh oil. My main pro was that the fried pie was pretty good and was the best part of the meal. All in all, service was friendly, it’s a unique location. Food was lacking. I’m glad I went but I probably won’t come back.”

“Love’s Donuts and Gourmet Sandwiches not only has great food, but the customer service is great.It’s located in the west end of town, where food places are scarce. The owner is very friendly, and knows the menu well. I’ve been multiple times with my sister, and I never once had a bad time. Their smoothies are great, and they have a big section of donuts. Their kolaches, muffins, and breakfast croissants are always look fresh. Haven’t had a sandwich yet, but definitely will try one. The prices are hard to beat. Once I was short a few cents, and the owner said it was fine and gave me my food anyway. Will continue to come.”

They accidentally gave us razorback nachos instead of loaded nachos but we’re solo apologetic and quick to correct our order. The strawberry shake was pleasant and the sweet tea wasn’t too sweet, it was just right. The catfish was tasty, the fried pie was excellent, and the cheeseburger was pretty flavorful also.
