California Crisp

UPDATE: Crisp has closed :(

Crisp is now occupying the spot where California Crisp used to be in the Paseo Colorado. Funny is how Crisp is now taking off were California Crisp left off by serving awesome, filling salads. Case in point my:

-=-Border Salad-=- I needed to balance my chicken and waffles from last night and this salad did it, but more like overdid it. The salads that Crisp serves are filling to the max with no shyness in adding fresh quality ingredients. The highlight of my salad would definitely be the light cilantro dressing and the thick cut Crisp-y (see what I did there?) slices of bacon. The big avocado slices do deserve special mention since they were the first thing that people noticed. There were no crappy reject pieces of lettuce in here and the light sprinkling of cheese adds in flavor in all the right places. I now have this crazy feeling that I'll need to postpone my dinner a bit and oh what a good thought after a SALAD.

I cannot stress enough how friendly the staff here was. It was walk-up fast food, but I felt I was waited and taken care of. While waiting for our salads, the staff let us know that they would take our salads over to us even if we were at the outside tables. The manager would come around a bit later and ask us how our food was, and I was not shy in telling her that BACON made my salad. Even another staff, who was just carrying out food, would be making sure that we had what we needed. Great personable attention here along with fresh, filling salads for under 10 bucks. A+.

This place is awesome! And the people are great too! Salads...sandwiches...wraps...and all with a friendly smile! Working in the area, I frequent this place multiple times per week. Support small business!

The cashier woman was very rude to a customer that wanted cups for water and took the larger size cups. She made him exchange them for really small cups when he was almost filling them with water. I asked for a large cup for water and after her giving me small one and me explaining that I would like a large cup and will have to make less trips for water she relented but her attitude the whole time seemed very inconsiderate. Food was great!
