The Star on Park

A cool hippy pizza joint located in a former bank. They have some of the best chicken wings, baked potato fries, broccolini and cauliflower appetizers. Although I'm not much of a pizza fan, their deep dish was one that I found very delicious.

Couple of minor drawbacks is this place is busy so you may need to wait a few extra minutes before your server tend to you. Restaurant lighting was on the dimmer side and parking in this area is not that good (although there's a public parking lot towards the back can be challenging)

Good pizza and wines! Not your usual pizza place, it's better. Takes a little longer to get your pizza but it's worth it. Select from deep dish or thin crust. Both are tasty!

The pizza here is as close to Chicago style you'll get in the Bay Area. The cornmeal in the crust makes it taste AMAZING with a nice crisp crunch. I especially love the mellow tomatoes with the crust. Service was great, margarita was great. Overall a great spot for food and drinks. Highly recommend. This is the same outfit that runs Little Star.

Both the deep dish pizza and the thin crust were amazing. You can order one of their creations or you can make your own. The appetizers were also delicious! We tried the caprese and the meatballs. Their drinks were also really good! (We had margaritas). There's table seating or bar seating as well. Good customer service as well. Highly recommended.

The Meatball pizza is an experience. Nice craft sodas, good beer selection, fun cocktails. Friendly staff and a great looking interior. Excellent for takeout, too, they have a separate entrance and counter. It isn't cheap, but it could cost a lot more and I would still go.
