Absolutely fantastic restaurant for Burmese cuisine. The food is very fresh and flavourful and the servers are friendly, attentive, and make good recommendations. The chili lamb, tea leaf salad, and Thai iced tea are especially excellent. Pretty good for mid-size (5~6) groups, even for walk-ins; the wait was minimal during the week. Overall, would highly recommend a visit!
Lunch here was a 50/50 experience for two of us. Partner enjoyed his curry pork with coconut rice. But my curried beef with tea leaf salad was really disappointing, as the salad was ok, the curried beef, not so much. Flat with no flavor. .. Service was friendly and attentive.
The food here is awesome. Nothing like it that I've seen on the East Coast. I've enjoyed the garlic noodles with chicken and last time the pork curry with mango salad. My wife and sister in law enjoy the tea leaf salad. Would love to cook some of their food myself. They have a cookbook but several reviews state the recipes come out differently to the restaurant. I will definitely visit here again on my next trip to San Francisco.
Good food options. Green tea leaf salad is a must try. Do make a reservation before going there as they might have waiting.
Seriously tasty food from a small place. The staff is always on point and readily available. On a typical night you will wait, but trust me it’s worth it. They’ve got a great selection for vegetarians. Without skimping on flavor. A must in the island!
