Macondo Colombian Fusion is the ideal restaurant for many different occasions. I think food is a way to express love and share with others, I love being able to bring a taste of Colombia in the Bay Area anywhere I go. It’s hard to describe each ingredient because they’re characterized by the richness in diversity but one think I can tell it’s all their options are made with amazing freshest ingredients. Here’s a picture of the “Quesabirria Arepa” —> Cheesy Birria with pickled red onion, Carrots, Cilantro and Consommé.
There’s different options for breakfast , lunch or dinner. They also have empanadas 🤤, salads and NATURAL juice!!
Please do to yourself a flavor and stop by to try out this amazing food, the problem it’s that after you try it you’ll want to go all the time.
Delicious food and we are looking forward to returning many times in the future. We tried the Maite, Banh Mi and Choclo arepas, beef empanada and the plantain side.
Only a bench inside and outside so you'll need to take your food to eat elsewhere. Luckily there are a few parks nearby, and the parking lot with tables on Taylor and Webster.
The choclo arepa is the best. Cheesy, salty and sweet. For 5 dollars it's the size of my hand and I was full after eating one. Soo good.
Fantastic food. The empanadas are literally the best I ever had in my entire life. No exaggeration.
Wow this place is the real deal, the bahn mi arepa and farmers arepa (with plantains!) were sooo good, and they made the best chicken empanadas I’ve had. I called ahead and picked up, the kitchen was very clean and the owner was very kind. Price was reasonable. Highly recommend coming here, well worth the trip.
