Food is excellent. But noise level and prices are unacceptable. This is the typical "splash" restaurant that will attract a lot of traffic for a limited amount of time and then close, only to reopen under a new name elsewhere and repeat the process.
Lovely cocktails. Amazing food. A great food experience in an unexpected neighborhood.
Google reminded me that I have not reviewed this place yet? OMG this is one of the best restaurants around, really. I eat out way too often and eat really well because I work up an appetite every day. If you can get a spot here do not pass it up. And, everyone there is really really really friendly and welcoming!
Absolutely delicious. The wine list was good too. And for s business dinner it was s nice environment to be able to talk too. Not super loud or tables crowded too close.
Food was top notch. The fried chicken was perfectly done... Crispy on the outside and juicy on the inside. It is a pure savory fried chicken as opposed to a sweet savory combo. The drink I had (The Eleanor) was phenomenal, fruit but not too sweet and it makes the alcohol well. Also shout out to the female bartender for doing a women in power inspired drink menu. The fresh bread was a great addition...although not sure why they need to charge $5 for it. Skipped dessert because hello Mr Dewie's is within walking distance like a 3 minute walk. Don't expect to get in and out quickly this is a place you go to take your time and the service matches that speed.
All in all, I'd definitely go back for that chicken and a drink.
